I did not have a tripod since I minimized my gear on the scooter, however, there was the floor. I laid the M2 on the cathedral floor and set the shutter speed at 1/4 of a second, wide open at f2.8. It's a Leica M2, manufactured in the late 50's. These cameras were the photo journalist's dream camera because of size, (weight), fidelity, and superior resolution due to the fine objectives used on the cameras.
